Greg began his real estate career in 1978, when he worked for his father to renovate a mixed use office-theater project in downtown Raleigh, NC. Since that time, Greg has gained vast and varied experience in the real estate industry. Greg gained substantive experience in Houston, Texas while with the firms PM Realty, JLL, and Edmundson & Hobbs. Throughout his career, Greg has led several major assignments representing an aggregate value of more than $1 billion.

As Vice President, Mary oversees all financial accounts for Hobbs Properties. Her duties include processing payroll and maintaining tenant improvement accounts. Mary also provides buyer representation for residential purchases in Midtown and North Raleigh.

Rosie currently serves as the Director of Business Development, with a focus on developing the firm's brokerage arm while helping to navigate Hobbs’ growth strategy. After receiving her bachelor's degree from The University of Georgia, Rosie spent five years in Atlanta, where she successfully opened a new branch for TRC Staffing Services. Prior to joining Hobbs, Rosie worked on the capital markets team at The Dilweg Companies, a real estate owner operator with office holdings throughout the Southeast. She received her MBA at UNC Kenan Flagler's Business School with a focus in commercial real estate, corporate finance, and family business. Rosie's passion for commercial real estate is deeply rooted, as she has grown up within the industry. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Rosie is a dedicated parent, with two children and another one on the way.

Brittnee began her journey with Hobbs Properties as a Landlord Representation intern in January 2019, she then transitioned into her role as Leasing and Marketing Coordinator in April 2019, before transitioning to her current position as Property Manager in August 2020. She manages approximately 625,000 square feet of commercial real estate (20 properties) and one residential unit. Prior to transitioning into commercial real estate she was a multi-store manager in retail and she has over five years of experience in sales management. Brittnee's expertise extend beyond day-to-day property management; she has played a pivotal role in facilitating the acquisition and accounting & management onboarding of seven properties, as well as the disposition and accounting true-up of four properties, and the refinance of four properties.
Born and raised in Clayton, NC, she remains local to Johnston County. In her free time she enjoys reading, exploring new restaurants, going to concerts, and spending time with friends, family, and her pets. Connie started working part-time at Hobbs Properties in 2010 as receptionist and administrative assistant for the office. As the firm grew throughout the 2010s, she shifted over to the accounting department and is now responsible for managing the daily operations of the Hobbs Properties office as well as providing accounts payable and receivable functions for the portfolio.

Bill joined the maintenance team in 2016 and has since settled into his role as the Facilities Maintenance Manager. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Bill brings along 30 years of overall experience, including 9 years in a managerial position. His extensive background equips him with a deep understanding of facility maintenance practices and the ability to address a wide range of challenges that may arise.
As the Facilities Maintenance Manager, Bill plays a crucial role in ensuring that all properties under Hobbs Properties are well-maintained and meet the highest standards. He coordinates and supervises maintenance activities: including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance, to ensure the smooth functioning and optimal condition of the buildings. James joined the Hobbs team in mid-2020 as the Leasing & Marketing Coordinator before shifting to Project Management and Marketing at the end of 2020. As Project Manager, James primarily oversees renovations of the Hobbs portfolio as well as creating budgets and designing floorplans. As Marketing Coordinator, he prepares all media for the firm, such as flyers, presentations, and advertisements, as well as managing the Hobbs website.
Prior to working at Hobbs, James worked as a residential real estate agent at Fonville Morisey Realtor and as a Service Inspector at the Summer Food Service Program, a division of the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. In his spare time, James enjoys visiting with friends and family, working out at the gym, learning about architecture & design, and watching comedies & horror movies. Mary Jo joined our firm in 2015. Originally from Virginia, she has been happy to call Raleigh home for the past 20 years. Mary Jo brings an extensive management and customer service background with her, as she previously managed multiple retail stores and served as a Girl Scout Leader for 13 years.
As Office Manager, Mary Jo's role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including directing Human Resources functions, managing payroll, overseeing purchasing and inventory management, coordinating memberships and licenses, serving as the IT coordinator, organizing events such as the annual Tenant Appreciation Luncheon, and providing excellent customer service to all. Mary Jo is a loving wife and mother, having raised two wonderful girls with her husband, Kevin. They currently share their home with a lab, a cat, and two active rescue kittens. Hailing from Greensboro, Corbin recently joined the team after graduating from NC State this past Spring. As Leasing & Sales Representative, he helps provide businesses solutions and further opportunities for growth. He brings 3 years of experience as a Leasing Rep along with him. With a focus on landlord and tenant representation, Corbin plays a crucial role in assisting clients with their property needs. Leveraging his expertise, Corbin skillfully navigates the complex landscape of real estate to ensure optimal outcomes for both landlords and tenants.
He previously has worked as a farm hand on Hickory Hills Farm, a Project Manager with Piedmont Environmental Associates, and most recently as a Development Analyst at Byron Development. Caroline joined the team at the beginning of 2023, bringing over 14 years of experience in management roles. Working as an Accounting Associate, she assists Connie with managing accounts payable and receivable, processing rent checks, and handling day-to-day accounting tasks.

Kevin is the newest member of the maintenance team, joining at the end of 2022. Growing up in Charlotte, he traveled along the eastern side of the United States growing up, particularly spending many years in Baltimore and New Orleans.
Prior to joining Hobbs, Kevin worked as a mechanic and in carpentry & remodeling. He has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, including building bridges and boardwalks, and designing amenities for new developments. He has four years of experience working directly in the maintenance field. In his spare time he enjoys flexing his creative muscle by writing, playing guitar, drawing, and painting. Ralph joined the maintenance team in 2022. Growing up in Princeton, NC, he spent most of his life in the Outer Banks. Prior to working at Hobbs, he worked for over 23 years at construction and remodeling companies, and also as a CNC Machinist where he designed retail display units and aircraft materials. With over five years of experience working directly in the maintenance field, he primarily oversees The Grove Office Complex on Navaho Drive.

Rick joined the firm in 2019 and brings 49 years of experience in the trades to his role as Facilities Maintenance Engineer. With his extensive background as a Residential Maintenance Manager and Technician, Facility Management Engineer, Computer Programmer, Electronics Technician, and Test Floor Manager, Rick brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role. His greatest strength is his ability to troubleshoot and then resolve issues that arise within the properties managed by Hobbs Properties. He also excels at teaching and training his fellow coworkers. He brings his excellent communication skills, great sense of humor, and acute attention to detail with him to work every day.
