Between 2000 and 2013, Raleigh grew by 50%!
It’s a good time to be setting up shop in Raleigh. According to the Triangle Business Journal and new census data performed by the U.S. Census Bureau in 2013. The Raleigh area, and NC in general, has seen a large growth in population. Since 2000, Raleigh has grown from 276,093 to 414,530—a growth rate of 50%. Surrounding areas also saw similar growth as Wake Forest, Garner, and Cary all grew by more than 47%, which exceeds the 40% growth rate of another popular North Carolina city: Charlotte.
